Calton Hill Primary School caters for all children (Years 1- 6) and provides them with opportunities to learn in and across all of the NZ Curriculum areas. Children are provided with a number of extra – curricular activities including:

Sport: T-ball, hockey, ripper rugby to name a few.

The Arts: Polynesian song and dance, Kapa Haka.

Community Activities: Grandparent reading.

The Family Resourse centre.

Everybody is encouraged to develop their strengths and to accept each other as equals.

We pride ourselves as a family orientated school where parents are encouraged to take part in and support all aspects of school life. A special feature of our school is the Family Resource Centre which enables parents to meet, share interests and use school resources such as the School Computer Network and photocopier.

A computer suite where parents can use linked computers to the internet for private use.
