Glenda has been the principal since November 2007. She is married and lives with her husband Terry on a small farmlet where they farm highland cattle and black merino sheep. They also have some alpaca, turkeys and hens.

Pesamino is currently working towards completing his Masters in Indigenous Studies with the University of Otago, where he teaches a paper in Pacific Dance over Summer School, in Pacific Studies. He has a passion for learning and teaching especially new entrant children as well as promoting and encouraging Maori and Pasifika cultures. He performs in Samoan groups and dances professionally in Kia orana Performing Arts around the city. He believes that Pacific Dance can nurture the best in kids as it is a team effort where self-discipline and support of one another is a must. Pesamino is strongly involved in his Church community, the wider Pasifika community and loves spending time with his wife, kids and extended family.

Linda has a strong interest in music, gardening and reading. She enjoys teaching numeracy and literacy. At the present time she is really excited about having her first grandchild.

Claire has nearly 40 years teaching experience and this year marks 20 years at Calton Hill Primary. Her main interests are classical music, reading, wild life especially my dog, cat and creepy crawlies around her garden. I enjoy teaching children to be observant of the world around them and to have a love of reading and books.
